Kim surprised me today with a trip to Banya 5 and a deep tissue massage. I felt sick with a sore throat last night and knew I wasn’t going in to work today, and I slept for 13 hours. It was wonderful. I was on the verge of lucid dreams a few times too, but kept waking up for some reason when I realized I was dreaming. Kim had been planning this trip the last few days and didn’t tell me anything. On the way there she finally told me where we were going since I was driving. We relaxed in the steam room and sauna before I went upstairs for my hour long deep tissue massage. I’ve never had professional deep tissue massage before, but I’m never getting that wimpy Swedish style relaxation massage again. At a few points the massage was on the verge of being too much but never was. I still feel good from it. After the massage we spent another few hours doing the spa thing before finally heading home. Now that’s a kick ass valentines. Forget dinner and flowers.
