Let me just say, I make a darned cool lion. Unfortunately I forgot to put my memory card in my camera before I left for the party, so I didn’t get any pictures. Kim went as an anime warrior, which involves a long Chinese dress, a cool, foamy, pink hair piece, and some nunchucks, which Gabe just happened to have lying around.
Travis was up for the weekend, so he came over before the party. He went as a gangster in a snazzy suit and hat. As he said, half the costume was just his voice impression of a gangster which was pretty good and definitely amusing. Jesse was 007, Deborah was Money Penny, Betsy was a Fem Bot (one of her machine gun jubblies fell off), and Anna was a cowgirl in fishnets. There were other people too, but I didn’t really know them at all. Deborah’s brother was Hunter S Thompson, but apparently other people at the party didn’t get it.
There were prizes for different categories of costumes, and I thought I’d be a shoe in for scariest, but apparently all the girls think I’m too cute despite my terrifying roar, so a devil costume won. Kim won in one category but I can’t even remember what it was.
