I tried acupuncture at the Bastyr Teaching Clinic for forearm tendinitis a few years ago when I was getting back into climbing. I went two times and it was a pleasant experience. The teaching environment was cool. Two students diagnosed me by looking at my tongue and asking questions then the doctor came in and discussed the diagnosis and treatment with them. My tendinitis got better but who knows whether the acupuncture helped. If insurance won't pay for it then you should try Bastyr; it's pretty affordable. What happened to your shoulder?
